Getting my TV or Blue Ray Player to read a flash drive

Hi there

I have a KDL 40Z5800 TV and a BOP S560 Blue Ray player, neither of which will read a flash drive loaded with movies. The flash drive is Widows 7 compatible and I have no problems watching the movies on my laptop but want to watch them on my TV. Can anyone offer any tips or advice please?

Fran

Hi,

its likely that the reason why is the flash drive was formatted incorrectly, in order for it to work on your tv or player it needs to be formatted in FAT32 first, then theres the problem if the movie files are more than 4gb the drive wont take them.
