HDMI failure

HDMI ports have failed one by one to recognize input formats.  Essential they will no longer work with inputs hat have been previously no issue.  Reading the forum his seems to be not an uncommon issue with Sony TVs but I haven't seen a solution that would fix it without going to a Sony authorized repair centre.   Does anyone have any alternative.  Mine may be to buy a new TV that isn't  SONY.

Model is KDL-32D3000 series.

Hi

Sorry to hear that - could always try a factory reset to see if that fixes anything, but on the face of it, it sounds like it could require a trip to the repair agents to get sorted I'm afraid.

Thanks

Hi,

some say unplug the tv for about 30 seconds then do a factory reset after plugging back in and that usually clears any glitches if not, as above a visit to the local authorised repair centre will be nessessary.
