HELP!

I have a KDL 40HX753 and cannot connect to the internet. It is supposed to have inbuilt wifi (which was why I bought it) but it will not connect internally (with it's own Wifi) or externally via my router. It refuses to recognise my router and asks for a pin number which bears no resemblence to anything written on the device, despite having had no difficulty connecting it wirelessly to my computer. The book is no use, the sony webbsite doesn't help and I'm hoping that SOMEBODY somewhere might be able to help me. Please.....

Hi

First try updating the firmware either via connecting via Ethernet to the router or sownloading the new version onto USB and flashing it.

http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/KDL-40HX753/downloads/AZ3EUA_1910

Then try running a factory reset and see if it connects then. Can also try turning off your WEP/WPA code ( bear in mind these are case sensitive anyway) and see if that makes a difference....

Hope this helps
