Apologies - not sure what is happening but I've managed to lose the original question which is about if I connect my tv's to my home lan, what will I get in terms of enhanced services - would I be able to get things like BBC i-player or would I need to have anything else in place to allow me to get that type of service?

Hi, yes, both of those TVs will be able to access iPlayer if you plug them into your network.
