Registering a USB with files etc on it

Want to register my USB, it says that hdd data will be deleted during this process. Does that mean that it will delete all data on the USB device when registration process is happening. I have a lot if work stuff, photos and films.

Yes, all files will be lost.  You will need a dedicated USB drive/HDD in order to register it to the TV.

Hi there

On a side note, If they are important irreplaceable files - I would strongly recommend them being backed up.
