Sony Bravia KDL-40NX713 DLNA codec renderer support

Hi

Would it be possible to update the firmware so that TV renderer can support the latest video codecs/files formats including mp4, mpeg-4, xvid and divx (avi, and mkv)....and also aac/m4a audio files. I notice that some of the latest TV models now fully support these formats (both through DLNA and USB) so would be great if older models can also receive this functionality via a firmware upgrade.

P.S I know that it these files can be transcoded through serviio or homestream, but the idea is to not have to have the laptop/PC turned on for this. Just simply DMS to DMR via a controller.

Thank you.
