SONY KD-49XE7077SAEP shows me 25Hz rate on TV option, poor image quality and disappointment.

I buy this SONY KD-49XE7077SAEP, run the TV tuner setup guide and the image quality is not that want.

OK the Greek TV singal is HD channels is 1080i 50Hz.

The option I get when press the Info button, is the correct resolution to each channel, but gives me 25Hz.

Also very big pixel in image quality.

Final the Greek SONY website shows a different remote control , with Netflix and Youtube keys.

The remote control in my TV is like a cheap 30$ tv tuner , Is the 3rd SONY i buy in my life but so simple remote control.......

Disappointment because already buy 2 PS Pro and want something better in users experience.

do you watch TV via the inbuild tuner, or do you use a receiver?

Also if you use an external receiver, how do you have it connected (HDMI, Composite Video, Scart)?

I use the built in TV-Tuner with the classic antenna on the roof of the building.

No need HDMI to see TV programm.

Hz has nothing to do with the frames displayed per second.

Also 1080i ("i"=interlaced) gives you 50 half frames which result in one deinterlaced feed with 25 frames.

So I don't think anything is wrong with it.

The only thing I wonder is, why you experience "artifacts" (big pixels).
