Sony KDL48W650D Opera Store has no Amazon Video App

I recently bought a Sony KDL48W650D. I was made to understand that the TV would support Amazon video and other such apps. However the TV only has very few built in apps and the opera store has limited and mostly useless apps and it is too hard to navigate this 'smart' tv.

Some websites mention that I can update my firmware but I am unable to update my firmware over network or manually through the USB feature.

Can anyone tell me how can i view Amazon Video on my TV?

Hi there

Which country are you in and is Amazon Video available for your country?  The TV model you have said above is not a UK model?

Is your TV definately connected to your home network?

Also ensure that you have installed the latest firmware on your TV.

Thnks for your reply. I am in India and amazon video is available here. The tv on the other hand is imported from another south asian geography i believe. I am unable to update my software over networkn or manually.

any suggestions?
