TV Link/Magic Eye

I have Sky in the back room and usually to connect Sky to the front room using Sky Magic Eye/TV link. i have replaced the TV in the front room with my new Sony kdl42w653 TV, but can not see how I can access Sky. On my old TV is was found on the analogue channels. Can anyone help?

Hi there

 

You probably have to re-tune it back in.  Refer to your Instruction Manual that came with the product.  Alternatively Google "TV Link/Magic Eye" brings up many results.

 

As a quick pointer:

"The coax cable from RF2 on the digibox should be connected to 'TV Aerial' on the back of the second tv.  You then have to run an analogue scan ( NOT DVB ) on the second tv to receive the signal from the Sky box.  When the scan is complete, give it a channel number ( usually Ch6 ) .  If the picture is not good, you'll probably have to try a lower RF Channel number on the Sky box, then rescan the second tv."
