VESA mounting holes positions

Hello Sony and Community

I have a 65W855A Television and I am going to mount it to the wall using

a bracket that allows me to turn the TV between landscape and portrait mode

in order to watch movies and play pinball, vertical shooter etc..

The VESA holes are 400 x 300mm but they are not centered in the

middle of the TV so to speak but instead are offset a couple of inches down.

Since the TV is probably a little heavier on the lower part due to speakers etc..

is it safe to assume the VESA holes are instead placed in the mass-center of the TV

to counteract the inbalance that otherwise would occur?.

Should I mount the turnable bracket in the center of the TV display or exactly

in the center of the VESA pattern?.

Thanks

Peter

Hi there

I really would not want to give you "duff" information on this, I would strongly urge you to get the advice from Sony themselves.

Contact them : HERE

Cheers

Yes please do

When I read your question, the only answer I could give would be a guess to be honest.  And a guess could mean the whole thing comes crashing down - if you get my drift - Would hate that (and so would you)
