Adjusting screen brightness with functions keys

Hi, I am using a Vaio VGN FE21H and the function keys (F5 and F6) for adjusting the screen brightness do not work anymore. I may have accidentely disabled that function. I have also removed some of the preinstalled software and by doing this I may have removed a needed driver or so. However, not sure whether this is the root cause. I would be grateful if anyone could give me a hint. Thanks in advance.

Hi Roman

Download the Preinstalled Utilities for your FE21H from Vaio-Link, once downloaded extract and then install the following, in order.

1 Sony Utilities
2 Sony Shared Library
3 Vaio Event Service

Once completed then re-boot your vaio.

You may have to do this more than once..:smileywink:
