I HAVE OWNED THIS MODEL FOR A FEW MONTHS AND NOT HAPPY WITH THE HEAT IT PRODUCES, PLEASE COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK ALL OWNERS OF S3! THE BOTTOM GETS RED HOT TO TOUCH (AND IT DONT MATTER WHAT SETTING ITS ON

I'm not an S3 owner. But I have heard that a lot PowerMAC user has similar problems. The heat seems to be normal.

But you could use RMLock. With this tool you can configure the CPU clock, voltage, etc. on your VAIO. That could help a bit.:smileywink:

Hm. Red hot? It might well get hot, but I'm not sure it should be quite as hot as that. Perhaps it is best to run a temperature monitor on your computer, and see what the figures come out as. Try one of the freeware (not shareware) apps here.
