AR11S component video out switch?

Hello,

I know the GeForce 7600 GT is capable of running component video out but I cannot find anywhere how to switch it on as sony obviously have custom drivers for the laptop.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I know I can use HDMI but I have one TV that only has component in ( proper YPrBr or RGB ). Anybody managed to get this working?

Hi emitrom,

The AR11S cannot output a Component Signal.

The GeForce 7600 GT does have Advanced Display Modes and supports a Component Output.

Unfortunately you do not have a GeForce 7600 GT PCI Card in your AR11S - this card is designed for Desktop Computers. You have the "MOBILE" version - GeForce Go 7600 GT - which does not support a component output.
