backing up drivers

is it possible to backup "all" drivers of my computer for future use e.g after formatting etc.,and how?

if you have a Vaio you should be able to download all of the original drivers from your Vaio models support page.?

i meant as alternative to downloading them from support page;and perhaps i misspoke when i said backup,i meant copy,as in copy all drivers on external drive for manual installation if required.
