BATTERY DISCHARGES ON A SERIES WHILST TURNED OFF! HELP!

IVE RECENTLY PURCHASE AN A317M.
MY BATTERY APPEARS TO LOSE CHARGE EVEN WHEN SWITCHED OFF.
IS THIS NORMAL?
OR IS SOMETHING WORNG?

Not necessarily. If you remove the plug casing it exposes a 2 pin plug adapter with my PSU.:smileywink:

going back to the original query guys,
my laptop and battery are less than two weeks old.
the laptop discharged 30% over a 7day period where i did not switch it on

is that normal?

if it is not who do i call?

i fully charged my vaio on wed 27 april, one day later thurs 28 april, the battery level is 76%, and throughout this period it has remained unused/switched off.

are you sure this should happen?

No thats not normal, had mine off for a week and it was up to 82%

Well if the battery is below 90 days old you contact VAIO Link
Otherwise you'd have to buy a new one.
