Battery Life and dvd playback

Hi, I have a 4 month old PCG-FR415M and was just wondering what that battery life should be? It seems to run for about 50 mins on a full charge even when just browsing the net. Also dvd playback is a little jerky on battery power, but ok on mains. Is this normal?

This model has a desktop CPU from what I remeber.
As it doesn't have powerpannel then you can't change this.

I have a PCG-FR415B and I'm lucky if I get an hour out of it, and that's just using word But it is a lower spec machine then the PCG-FR415M so the most I should expect anyway is around 1h 15min
