Blu Ray Layer problems ar11s

Hi,
finally I've bought my Vaio Ar11S. My aim is to watch HD movies.
I've bought a BD Movie here in Italy and surprise...
I've discovered that my layer is not compatible.
When I bought my laptop, sony style seller told me I could watch Blu ray movies but I have this error message:
"this disk is codified REGION B and it cannot be read by this drive, take the disk out and insert it in a REGION B drive".
What does it mean?
Please tell me that I didn't throw my money out of the window and that I can find a solution.

Hi Sergio and welcome to Club Vaio.

Other members have had this problem and solved it by downloading the latest update for WinDVD BD. Open WinDVD BD and check for updates.

Your Vaio should be Region B (Europe & Africa). Have you got the latest firmware for your Blu-Ray drive and other Updates - Check Here
