I just bought a VGN-AR11S and I´m a little bit surprised the br-disk writing speed is only 2.7 to 2.8 MB/sec instead of 4.495 MB/sec
As the drive had firmware 1.0 I first flashed 1.05 since there where problems writing the recovery dvd with 1.0
Edit: it seems to be only the writing speed on BD-RE (rewritable) media. The reading speed is aprox. 4.4MB/sec
Any hints?
