Buring DVD+R Media

I recently purchased the PCG-K315Z notebook, but am having problems buring onto DVD+R Media.

The Writer is a DVR-K14L (internal Panasonic, I Think).

Whenever I insert the media, Nero will spit it back out.
According to the DVD cover it states "This product is not suitable for use with DVD+R/RW drives which do not comply with the new DVD+R specifications for 4x writing speed"

I'm pretty sure the writer complies, but is a firmware updates required (and is one available, 'cos I can't find one anywhere yet!)

Make sure you use Ritek 4x disks or Ritek 8x disks for the ultimate compatibility, I think TDK comply with this but I am not sure...

Check you have got all of the patches for Nero from Ahead's site, then if that fails try getting the Nero Registry Cleaner to tidy up the installation.

As a final suggestion, as a last resort remove Nero, then reinstall it from the supplied media.

Good Luck!:smileypraying:
