Can Anyone Help me? on the SONY VAIO VGC-V2S

Hi All,

Just purchased a new Sony Vaio VGC-V2S which is great.

After many attempts I managed to adjust the TV window from Square to stretch across the size of the 20" screen which is great.

The annoying part I now have is that I bought this PC because of the screen size & so after many attempts to find this option for gaming I have given up.

Can Anyone Help??

I am currently having to play games with a square window which doesnt utilize the full size of the screen on the V2S. I have altered this for the TV but can't find an option to alter this for the graphics when playing games to make it full screen.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Trevor

That's more the games develipers fault, some game companies make the resolutions changable so you can use widescreen.

Try this - it works for ATi Radeon cards...

1. Right click a blank area of the Windows XP desktop.
2. Click Properties
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Advanced.
5. Click the ATi Displays tab.
6. You should now have a dialogue box with Panel, x 60Hz. Click the Panel button.
7. Click Scale Image to Panel Size - a blue tick appears.
8. Click OK, then click OK again to return to the desktop.

All games will now play in full screen mode.

Hi,

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately the V Series uses NVIDIA & has a different menu.

I had a browse round it but couldnt see anything to adjust the size.

Thanks anyway.
