Can't create recovery discs

Hi

I have a problem with recovery center. When I try to create recovery discs in recovery center a warning messege keep coming up and saying "Cannot find the recovery drive. If you have not removed the recovery drive, restarting the system may correct the issue." I have tried to restart several times withou any luck. And I dont think my recovery drive is gone because I can recover my system with recovery system.

Hi raim_ and welcome.

Things to try: -

1. Make sure ALL other programs are closed.
2. If you have installed any Virtual Disc software, you will need to Uninstall it (Daemon Tools etc.)
3. If you have installed Norton GoBack, you will need to Uninstall it.
4. Try DVD+R discs from Verbatim/TDK/Sony.
5. You don't say which Vaio model you have - most models have a VAIO Recovery Centre Patch that needs downloading from Vaio Support Downloads and installing for the discs to be produced.

What else have you installed on your Vaio?
