Capture cards?

Would it be possible to take a capture card from a GigaPocket enabled Vaio and install in one which shipped without?

Or would I be better off getting an external Pinnacle type box

Nah, wouldn't work.

Anyway there are some decent Pinacle/Haupagge cards available on the market, do your homework and Bobs your uncle.
