Yes, depends on what format your dvd writer uses i.e. DVD+R or DVD-R/DVD-RAM so you'll need to find out from it's specification. DVD+R and -R are single write, permanent, keep the data forever discs, +RW -RW and RAM discs can be re-recorded over. Dan
