Hi I have a sony vaio FX501 Laptop and would like to fit a
CD-R/RWDVD-ROM DRIVE in to it. I have a new CD-R/RWDVD-ROM MODEL No CRX830E Which is for the FX SERISE LAPTOP.Is this an easy job?.

Yes and no, depending if it fits correctly in the bay.
I have that drive and I'm not 100% impressed with it.
It's usually found in the GRX series.
