Hello,

I bought VGN-A115M notebook vaio and I would like to know if it's possible to change the hard disk. I can update the memory but I don't know for the hard disk. Thank you very much for your help...

Yes you can, I think Woody wrote a guide to doing this too, maybe he can refresh my memory....

You will have to trail through the forum to find my guide (no search facility )

You can change it, and yes you need a 2.5" drive but you will invalidate the warrenty.

Additionally, the A series is one of the most difficult VAIOs to change the HDD in, you have to take the machine completely to bits and remove the memory-stick wirless networking assembly!

Not for the faint hearted or computer novice!
