Changing back to XP from Vista

I have a Vaio VGC V2S if anyone wanted to know.
But anyway.
My computer came with XP, but I put on Vista,
but now I want XP back.
Can you do this with the recovery disks?
If so, how?

Hi katie942 and welcome.

If you still have your Recovery Partition, you can reinstall the original Operating System by tapping F10 when you start your Vaio and see the first VAIO logo. This will start the Recovery Wizard.

Alternatively, you can start the Recovery by putting your System Recovery Disc in the drive and restarting your Vaio.

Exploration -> e-Tutuorials -> Recover your Vaio

at the topof this page there is a tutorial on how to do this.

Remember to back up important data first.
