connect vaio to tv through vga port

hi!
I want to connect my vaio to tv.
my model is VGN-FS515B and does not have s-video port.
There is a cable that converts vga port into a s-video port but I need to know if my VGA card has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector to ensure this cable will work.
How can I know?

Hi gabarras and welcome to Club Vaio.

I am not absolutely sure but I believe the VGA output on the FS-Series of Vaios is Analogue RGB with additional sync terminals.

You will probably need a converter box - this is the only one I can find quickly (it is in the USA) but a Google for "VGA to TV" may bring up something from your country.

no, I don´t have this s-video output.
This is why I'm asking about using this "vga to s-video" cable.
