disc size?

I am planning to purchase a DVD camcorder but am not sure if I can use 8cm disc in my FR415S?

Why not. I don't see a problem. But these disks are more expensive than normal disks.

They're fine.
It's desktop computers you have to watch out for a ring in your DVD drive to fit them into.
