Extending D drive from C

Hello all,

I have an FZ21s, on which I have successfully installed XP on a partition. Originally I intended to have a dual boot, but since neglected the idea, and now left with small D drive with windows XP on, and a big C drive with nothing on it. Does anybody know of a way I can extend my D drive from the space in C without reinstalling XP completely? Any partition program or what not?

tried many things without much luck.

many thanks

h.

Hi hlitani and welcome to Club Vaio.

Something like Partition Magic 8.0 should do what you want without the need to reinstall Windows.

Unfortunately, it is not free!

Are you able to save any files, folders, etc. to your C drive.?

Have you checked your hard drive for errors.?

Thanks everyone,

I have overcome this problem by installing and using Acronis Partition Expert, which worked fine until I dared changing the drives letter...
Windows than did not allow me to log in. I tried repair installation but it hangs at 'completing installation' 27 minutes remaining.

I Don't know why it does that and I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP

Thanks
