Hi guys just bought my vaio a couple of days ago and all seems to be fine(havent had much time with it though)! I have installed all the stuff that came with it but was wondering what you would recomend for optimum performance....I would like to keep Media Center as the OS but possibly looking for new firewall ect..anything you guys can suggest to turn it into a super machine?

i use norton but it is not that good. maby zonealarm is good. some people say so. i also use diskeeper to speed up me pc nstead of disk defragmenter

I suggest using Zone Alarm as your firewall and AVG as your AV

Thanx for the help guys...i will give it a try! I see a lot of people are having problems with the speed of their fe11s'...i hope mine is not the same. By the way do you know how long the fe11s has been out for now?
