Dear All
I have an S2VP (about 18 months old) and in the past few weeks the screen, on start-up has begun to flicker and splurt as though it is in the throes of a breakdown. Once start-up is complete it generally behaves as normal (though on a couple of occasions it has just started flicking for 3-5 seconds)
Is this a sign that the screen is on the way out or something less expensive such as a loose connection across the spindles/hinges or something wrong with the graphics card (ATI mobility radeon 9700 - 64mb)?
Thinking I am about to lose everything I purchased a 100GB USB Fujitsu Handy HDD. Using the windows file back-up this will only allow me to save a maximum 4GB file as it says the HDD is based on fat32. Can I reformat the HDD to NSTC?
Many thanks in advance
Hi
Could be the inverter, you'd really need to see a local computer shop.
As for the hard disk, why not use WinZip or 7Zip as TT once suggested? It keeps the directory structure and compresses data.
