Fresh install Sony SZ3

I just gor a new Sony SZ3 XWPC and I thought it might be a good idea to do a clean install of winXP I got a legit licence from the University and I tried to install it.
Thinking it might be straight forward i am facing a number of problems:

1) According to windows there is no sound card!!!

2) I seem to miss a number of utilities (such as the camera)


any help would be appreciated!!!

Have you gone to the club vaio support site and downloaded the original drivers/utilities if you did not back up before reinstalling?

The sound has a patch you have to install first before the system detects the sound and modem

in the applications folder which you normally have in your C:\ is your cam stuff
but if you didnt backup, you can normally download the original set of apps and drivers from the support site (check at the top of this page and you'll see support).

try it via your laptopservice tag ID and see if its tthere
