internal memory vaio desktop

He guys I was wondering, I have 2x 512mb in my desktop, and I have left over 2x 256mb memory, is it better to put those also into my desktop, or is 2x 512mb better? Do I have more results with those 2x 256mb? I work a lot with different kind of programs at once. Please I hope you will give me some advice... Thanks

Assuming that the 256 Mb modules have the same timing as the 2 x 512 MB modules then there is no reason that you should not use them.

As you say that you have many different programs open at the same time you may very well notice the benefit of an additional 512 Mb of memory.
