Is it possible to install larger HDD's on VAIO

I'd like to install a larger hard drive on a FS-315S.Would this cause any problems as by default the disk is pre-partioned ?:smileycool:

As long as the replacement drive is the same physical dimensions (probably 2.5") it will be a straight swap.

Your biggest problem will be dismantling your Vaio to gain access to the existing drive to put in your new one.

As long as you are comfortable with that there should be no problems.

Probably the easiest way to reinstall your Operating System would be to use the recovery disks and this will provide the new disk with two partitions.
