My girlfriend threw a book at the laptop yesterday and the screen is now completely knackered.

How much is a new screen?
Where do I get this done asap?

the screen will cost loads to get repaired by sony, it will probably cost more than the laptop, try and get it repaired by a good repair specialist in your area,
i have seen screens for sale on ebay? but not sure about this model,

As the guys say, screens are extremely expensive, probably even an insurance job.
