Left Click On Notebook

The left click on my sony vaio notebook has stopped functioning - the touchpad and right click work fine. The left click occasionaly works, however only if I pess it down very hard. The laptop is in the FS series, and is out of warranty. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Hi abhitrehan and welcome to the forum.

This is very difficult to analyze at distance, but I suspect that the touchpad button is faulty or possibly one of the associated components.

If you are into DIY I suggest that you have a look at the Nexttronics site for the relevant component supply, or alternatively contact an independent repairer.
