Matshita UJ-831Da Firmware

Does anyone know if there's a firmware update available for the Matshita UJ-831Da optical drive (and if so, could I have the FTP link).

I have a VAIO FS215S and the original optical drive was replaced with this Matshita. Needless to say, it's not a standard part so no updates appear on VAIO Update.

I currently have firmware 1.01 and am having problems with some CD-Rs.

The problem is that the drive Sony replaced my original with is not used on the FS215S, so any updates for this drive won't appear in the list of updates I get for my laptop.

You will either need to contact support or search through other models to find which have this drive fitted and also have an update available.
