when i bought my sony vaio online i also got 3 years of McAfee internet security. Since setting up the laptop and registering McAfee i get regular warnings from McAfee internet security that i need to check for updates despite automatic updates being on. Each time i click check for updates it has the spinning icon as it searches, but before it finishes the banner across the top of the McAfee window turns green and says all is up to date. it is very frustrating as it can be a matter of seconds between these warnings and while im sure it is up to date even when it says it isnt, it make me wonder as it clearly isnt working correctly.
Please can you advise me how to resolve this issue.
