memory stick devices

I have just formatted my vaio and installed XP Pro.

When i look in my computer there are memory stick (E:) and SD/MMC (F:) drives.

Before i formatted there was only one there.

To be honest i dont use either of them, can i remove one or remove them both?

Hi Chris,

Not really sure why you want to get rid of them but the best way would be to go to Device Manager and expand 'Disc Drives'

Right Click on 'Sony USB HS-MS USB Device' and choose Disable. Do the same for 'Sony USB HS-SD MMC USB Device' .

This will remove them from My Computer and stop them functioning.
