Hi friends,
I have sony vaio VGN FS 215M notebook. I have installed XP professional (German version) instead of original XP home edition (also German) but now I'm getting the follwoing message after starting the computer" The monitor application will terminate" so what it is mean this error message and also in the hardware I still missing the driver of "netzwerkcontroller" which I couldn't found in the sony web site.
could you please help me in solving this problem.

Also. Den Treibersupport von Sony finde ich auch etwas seltsam. Entweder es fehlt die Hälfte oder die Treiber sind schlichtweg unbrauchbar.

Ist der Treiber der für die Netzwerkkarte, die in der FS-Serie verbaut wurde. Zumindest bei mir. Dementsprechend düfte es bei dir nicht anders sein. Ich selber habe es genauso gemacht wie du. Ich habe die Home gekickt und Professional installiert.

Treiber findeste in der Regel wie Sand am Meer:

Grafikkarte (falls NVIDIA) --> www.laptopvideo2go.com
Chipsatz --> www.intel.com
WLAN --> www.intel.com
LAN --> www.intel.com
Modem, Cardreader, Notebookcontroller etc. --> Vaio-Link
Sound (falls Realtek) --> www.realtek.com.tw

So sieht zumindest meine Treiberaufstellung aus.

So brauchen wir nur noch jemanden, der dir bei dem Fehler hilft
