New one Harddisc in Sony Vaio VGN-SZ5MN/B

Hi,

I like to change the harddisc in my Sony Vaio VGN-SZ5MN/B.
Is it possible to use a novel one with a higher capacity volume and what I have to look for?

hi bmrjnst,

It's not so recommended to change OEM HDD on your unit if you want to keep your in warranty - if still.

Otherwise check in device manager what HDD is mentionned and try to find the same brand with more space.

The best and cheapest solution is a new Mobile Hard Drive.
