No Audio Output Device Installed

I accidently dropped my laptop from waist height, and it's coming up with no audio output device installed and the volume isn't working.

When I go into device manager there is an Intel Audio coming up so I'm guessing it hasn't been dislodged? I've also tried troubleshooting with no joy.

I haven't tried downloading anything as yet, I don't think it's a software issue? especially if I dropped it

Hi zi9pwoc,

I think you probably know that devices can display in Device Manager, have drivers installed yet fail to work. You could try reinstalling the driver but assuming this happened immediately after the drop I don't hold out much hope  :slight_frown:

Hi there!

Well, this is embarrassing! I had the same issue a few weeks ago and that persisted for about 5 days.
To get this fixed I had to go through a long research over the internet.
Finally, Alex from Computer Mechanic walked me through this issue online with his awesome remote support tool.
If you wish to have this problem fixed instantly, they are available 24/7 to fix all sort of computer problems.

Best wishes for you!
