PCG-R600MX - Fan is damaged

Hello,

I couldn't find the search-page of this forum, but I hope someone can help me.

The fan of my R600MX is very loud and seems to function not properly...

I called the Vaio-Support but they want 20EUR for a request - I just want to know if Sony still has the fan unit...(I can change it bymyself)

e-Support also doesn't work, it keeps telling me I have a wrong pass (but I can login here...)

Any thoughts?

And chances are that they wouldn't supply an end user with the part anyway. They would just ask for the machine to be sent to them for repair. A sick Sony joke.
