Philips Cineos, linking to PCG-K415S

Hi,

I'm also trying to link my vaio to the tv (a Philips Cineos). Now I have bought a VGA -> Cinch cable to use the D-Sub output on the back of my vaio. I have already installed windows vista, but with my Ati Radeon mobility 9200 card I can't find the catalyst control center. Now I've got signal on the tv, but is flashing or there is no image.

I hooked up a VGA to component cable from my computer to my tv and the signal is rolling colors. The cable hooks into my video card (VGA) and goes to my TV (component).
What would be wrong?

Please help me

Hi Sikkel,

I don't think you will get a good output to your TV using the VGA output unless you buy a converter box. The VGA output is RGB but you will have difficulty synchronising the picture.

VGA to TV Converters are quite expensive.

Your K415S has a TV AV out socket (usually Yellow and on the left side of your Vaio at the front) which carries Composite Video + Audio L/R. You will need a Camcorder to AV (3.5mm jack plug to 3 X RCA) lead LIKE THIS
