Problem with the keyboard

When I use Words for example the machine make very much 888888888888888888888888888888888888 etc. I can't stop this.
Do you know what this meaning

Welcome to the forum , I've done this too....you have your scroll lock on. Fn key and scr Lck

Do you mean the key sticks down?
