Hi following my last thread about where to get memory from for the vgc-v2m, i was advised to go and check out Crucial. I found the memory i'm looking for and decided to buy a 1GB Ram, link below:

Now i have a 512Ram installed, if i put a 1GB Ram in the other slot would my pc operate from the smallest RAM this being 512? Or will the sony combine the 2 rams together to give me 1512Ram (near enough)?
Should i just remove the 512 ram and install the 1gb?
Help please, any advise would be great.
