Hi i wonder if there is someone out there that can help me. I have a sony VGN-FZ11L and a serious problem. I have two copies of my 3 recovery discs to enable me to feel safe before deleting the partition, now its come to a time where i have to recover my notebook neither copy of the recovery discs work..once it reaches the end of the recovery it says something like Failed to obtain the model information for creating recovery partition. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi Rico_E,

welcome to Club Vaio..

Try resetting the Bios to it's default settings.

To enter your BIOS start your VAIO, when you see the Sony logo press F2 repeatedly..
