Replacement TV Board in PCV-W2

I have a PCV-W2 running on XP Home SP2 with a Sony MPEG Real Time Encoder Board which is Analogue TV only. Does anyone know whether there is a Sony recommended Digital TV replacement board? Thanks

Hi Tillyard and welcome.

Unfortunately, Vaio Zone does not support digital TV, so replacing the tuner with the Sony AverMedia Hybrid DVB-T Tuner installed in later models would also require an update in the Operating System to one running Windows Media Centre.

You are probably going to be better off buying a USB Tuner (or twin-tuner) which will come with its own software for wiewing and recording digital TV.
