Currently when XP loads the logo is stretched over the whole screen. On my friends S1XP the logo is at its original size 640 x 480 (or it could be 800 x 600).
So my question is how does one resize the boot logo, so it looks slightly more professional?
I don't think it's a choice, I think it's more to do with the monitor itself. However if you want to replace it entirely with something better (a resized XP logo if you had sufficient time to make it yourself) then this free program would seem to be the order of the day. And then go here to download alternative bootscreens.
There is normally an option in the BIOS to stretch or not to stretch the screen when resolutions other than the native resolution are used. Press F2 when the notebook first starts and look for the option there.
Yeah normally. I don't have it, all my options are locked out. I love you Sony.
Nice avatar by the way Rob.
