Restore & Outlook Express

Hi All,

I have had to do a system restore on my computer (after many days wasted trying to install McAffee, very long saga).

Anyway luckily for me this has had caused my DVD/CD drive to start working again, but I forgot to back up all my emails I had in outlook express. I really need them, have I lost them or can I retrive them from somewhere?

Hi Emma,

Unless you've backed-up your emails before you ran the Vaio recovery utility I'm afraid they are now lost..

If there are specific emails that you need you could try asking the person who sent them to you to resend.??

In the future remember to use Windows Easy Transfer to backup emails and settings.
